Australia May Face A Big Setback - These Legendary Players May Also Be Out Of The Third Test

A four cricket match Test series is being played between India and host Australia.  The second match of the series is being played in Melbourne.  Kangaroo team opener David Warner has not played in both these matches.  Warner is upset with groin injury and may have to be ruled out of the third Test.  David Warner is yet to recover from a serious injury and has to contend with this injury.

Australia coach Justin Langer has revealed on Sunday that Warner was batting comfortably in the Nets as part of the host team's preparations for the next match, but the impact of a groin injury in November during the second ODI was just  he was not able to run.  Australia did not get a good start in the first two Test matches.  In such a situation, the management turned to the injured David Warner, but still he is not 100 percent fit.

Speaking on Channel 7, the team's head coach Justin Langer said to Ricky Ponting, "No one is more professional and he's doing everything possible. We saw him bat the day before the match.  This afternoon he is batting again in the MCG, so he is just trying in terms of his batting. He is still in a bit of trouble and we know how dynamic he is."

He added, "His running between the wickets, his movement all the time, so he is getting closer and we hope that he will recover well. He hopes that he will come back well, but this time will tell. Let us know about the next Test.  Just got a few more days to match." Burns, who struggled with form in Warner's absence, has been given a chance.  Burns batted well in the second innings in the first match, but was dismissed early in the first innings of the second Test.
